Valitraitors

The core promise of Ethereum is to be neutral and permissionless infrastructure. To live up to this dream, it relies on the validators it recruited to treat all transactions equally when building blocks. However, recently some validators have been censoring certain transactions. This violates one of the core tenets of our community. We therefore call them valitraitors. Our website looks for evidence of such unacceptable behavior and makes it available for everyone to see.

Only transactions with 3 or more misses are shown. All times in UTC.

# Pool Leaderboard

Validators, and by extension pools, are ultimately responsible for transaction selection. However, many choose to delegate this duty to builders.

Pool Market Share Misses Weighted Misses
Lido 1 27.1 % 40 1.5
Coinbase 11.5 % 29 2.5
Binance 5.7 % 17 3.0
Kraken 6.9 % 15 2.2
Figment 2.5 % 6 2.4

# Builder Leaderboard

Builders draft blocks for validators and directly choose which transactions to include or exclude.

Builder Market Share Misses Weighted Misses
Flashbots 14.6 % 53 3.6
Builder0x69 10.8 % 41 3.8
Rsync 10.2 % 37 3.6

Manta 1.7 % 5 3.0
BuildAI 1.0 % 2 2.1
Bloxroute 1.0 % 1 1.0
Eth Builder 1.2 % 1 0.8

# Relay Leaderboard

Relays do not engage in transaction selection directly. However, if a builder proposes a block that includes an unwanted transaction, the relay can reject that whole block.

Relay Market Share Misses Weighted Misses
Flashbots 24.2 % 89 3.7
Agnostic Gnosis 19.2 % 35 1.8
Ultra Sound 25.0 % 31 1.2
